After a period of doubt, Melissa McCarthy is set to reprise her role in "Gilmore Girls".
The actress announced the news on the Ellen DeGeneres show, putting the delay down to scheduling conflicts. She told the audience: "Literally about an hour ago, we figured out that I am gonna go back and do it!"
Netflix first announced it was reviving the hit TV series in the form of of four 90-minute episodes back in January. McCarthy will join returning cast members Lauren Graham, Alexis Bledel, Scott Patterson, Kelly Bishop and others on the new series, which will film through the summer.
