Elizabeth St. Philip is a senior producer at CTV National News where she covers a host of stories for national news and the investigative show W5. Her work has won or been nominated for 20 awards from organizations such as the Canadian Association of Journalists, the Academy of Canadian Cinema & Television and the Radio Television Digital News Association.
Elizabeth has also worked as a producer for CBC, Discovery Channel and was a field producer at the 2010 Vancouver Winter Olympics.
She wrote and directed two documentaries for the National Film Board of Canada which appeared at the Hot Docs Canadian International Documentary Film Festival and aired on CBC and the Documentary Channel. Breakin’ In - the Making of a Hip Hop Dancer was nominated for a Golden Sheaf Award at the Yorkton Short Film & Video Festival and awarded the Certificate of Honourable Mention in the social issues category at the Columbus International Film & Video Festival.
Elizabeth is also a recipient of a Reelworld Film Festival Trailblazer Award and holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Concordia University in Journalism and Communications.
