Montreal police confiscated an apology note and five boxes containing 242 bullets from Kimveer Gill's bedroom just hours after he went on a shooting rampage at Dawson College.
A list of addresses including the locations of Villa Maria high school, Vanier College, and Université de Montréal were also found, reports The Montreal Gazette.
Police also discovered the addresses and directions to Dawson College, a gun club in Lachine and a Montreal gun store.
Part of the apology note, dated Sept. 13, 2006, at 2:22 a.m., read "Sorry Mom and rest of family." Gill's rampage would begin later that afternoon.
Another handwritten note was found that included praise for Eric Harris and Dylan Klebold -- the two students responsible for the Columbine High School massacre in Colorado, reports the Gazette.
Police also seized other handwritten manuscripts, multiple gun holsters and manuals, receipts for weapons and instructions on how to assemble a Beretta CX4 Storm -- the gun Gill used in the shooting.
In his CD player was a disc titled "Shooting sprees ain't no fun without Ozzy and friends LOL" and he had 174 horror movies on DVD.
The details are all contained in a search warrant report that has been missing from a Montreal courthouse for months.
The Gazette obtained a copy of the file.
Gill, 25, was shot in the arm by police after injuring 20 students and murdering 18-year-old Anastasia De Sousa. He then took his own life, determined the Sureté du Québec.
