ORILLIA, Ont. -- Ontario Provincial Police say 10 people are facing a number of charges after the discovery of an alleged marijuana grow-op.

They say the operation was housed outdoors on a rural property in Ramara Township.

Police searched the property earlier this week where they say they seized and destroyed 2,600 marijuana plants.

They arrested 10 people at the scene, and all are now facing drug-related charges.

The accused range in age from 27 to 54 and come from as far afield as Markham, Bradford and Toronto.

All 10 were released and will appear in court in December.
