A victim who was fatally stabbed at Canada's Wonderland over the weekend has been identified as 21-year-old Kevin Ramkalawan.

Police were called to the theme park’s parking lot at 9580 Jane St. in Vaughan shortly after 12:30 a.m. on Sunday, where they found two male victims suffering from stab wounds.

Ramkalawan succumbed to his injuries early Sunday morning. The other victim, an 18-year-old male, was transported to hospital where he remains in stable condition.

Police believe there was an altercation between two groups of people at the theme park sometime around midnight. Following the initial altercation, both groups left the park grounds, but continued the fight in the parking lot.

During the altercations, several people were stabbed, but only two were found at the scene, York Regional Police said. They've received information from witnesses and Wonderland staff and security, but police are still appealing to the public for more information.
