Loblaws' Joe Fresh clothing brand has issued a recall on boys’ swimsuits due to a "potential risk of injury" from the swim trunks' mesh liner.

Loblaws says the voluntary recall applies to all Joe Fresh boys' swimsuits purchased since November of 2013. The retailer has also pulled the product from its stores.

The swimsuits can be returned for a full refund at any store that sells Joe Fresh clothing.

"We apologize for any concern this recall may have caused," the company said in a statement. "The health and safety of our customers is our top priority."
