A British Columbia man was shot and killed Tuesday during a home invasion in Mexico.
Media reports identified the man as 67-year-old Robin Wood of Salt Spring Island.
The shooting occurred at a home in the coastal town of Melaque, south of Puerto Vallarta. The home belongs to a friend of Wood, who is also from B.C.
According to reports, Wood and his friend were ambushed at the home by two masked men. Wood was shot during a struggle.
