TORONTO - The MuchMusic Video Awards are going to bring a spell of Biebermania to Toronto.

Sixteen-year-old pop star Justin Bieber has been announced as a performer for this year's MMVAs.

The show will be broadcast streetside from MuchMusic headquarters on June 20 -- more than two months before the Stratford, Ont., teen heartthrob is set to take the stage for a solo show at the Air Canada Centre.

American pop star Katy Perry has also been added to the bill for the awards show.

Perry will perform the first single from her still-untitled sophomore record, due for release sometime this summer.

Seventeen-year-old Miley Cyrus will co-host the annual bash alongside Much VJs.
