The winning numbers in the second-largest jackpot in Canadian history have been revealed. The winning numbers in Saturday's Lotto 6-49 draw were 11, 20, 33, 34, 37 and 39. The bonus number was 22.

Saturday's Lotto 6-49 jackpot is worth an estimated $48 million, which puts it about $6 million short of the largest ever jackpot, which was just over $54 million.

That win was shared among 17 oil and gas workers in Camrose, Alta., in 2005.

Saturday's prize pot grew after no one brought forward a winning ticket from Wednesday's $39 million draw.

When there are no winning tickets for one jackpot, the money carries over to the next draw.

The massive jackpot seems to be gathering more attention than normally due to a tough economy.

"People are searching for a form of escapism," Teresa Roncon, spokesperson for the Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation, told CTV News.

Tickets cost $2 a piece, and the odds of winning the jackpot are about 14 million to one.

Millions of Canadians are hoping that they might beat the odds.

Rob Farrant, is one of 16 car sales people at Gallinger Ford Lincoln in Milton, Ont. who are dreaming of hitting it big.

"$48 million jackpot, divided 16 ways a piece is $3 million . . . there would be a lot of hiring going on," he joked with CTV Toronto.
