Toronto police are investigating an overnight stabbing in the city's east end that claimed the life of one man.
Authorities responded to a call on Pharmacy and Denton Avenues, just north of Danforth Avenue, shortly after midnight on Saturday.
A man, believed to be in his 30s, was taken to hospital with stab wounds and pronounced dead upon arrival.
Another man suffered head injuries during the incident.
Police are appealing to the public to come forward with any information regarding the incident.
The victim's name has not been released. The man's death marks the 54th homicide in Toronto this year.
