Do you have a travel wish list? A bucket list of travel? All month I'll be presenting my Top Five Travel Experiences for people of differing ages and stages of life. So without further ado, here are my top five suggestions of things to do for people in their twenties.

Cambodia:  Before you're thirty, with no ties and lots of energy, see as much of the world as you can. Go for a good time and a long time! The days of Europe on $25 a day are pretty much impossible, but if you hit parts of Asia, it is still do-able. Cambodia is rugged and friendly and the temples of Angkor Wat are one of life's must sees. Consider doing some volunteer work while you are there. http://www.transitionsabroad.com/.

Australia: In your twenties take the time in between school and career and go to a country like Australia that requires a lot of time to cover. You have to be under thirty to take advantage of Australia's working holiday visa. It allows you to stay in the country for up to twelve months and work and study while you are there. http://www.immi.gov.au/

Ibiza: You have fewer ties when you're a young traveller, so you can take a few risks: go to places that aren't so family friendly, stay up all night and be totally self-indulgent. Ibiza is one of Europe's traditional wild party spots. Think about hitting Mardi Gras in New Orleans and Sydney, Oktoberfest in Munich and the Full Moon Party in Koh Phangan, Thailand too! http://www.ibiza-spotlight.com/

Europe by train: This is one of the few periods in life when you're likely to have some spare time to see the world. So take advantage of not needing to be anywhere urgently and try your hand at slow. Go by train or bus and meet the locals - even if you're crammed in with the chickens. European train travel with an Interrail pass is cheapest if you're under twenty-five so go in your twenties. http://www.interrail.net/

The twenties is also the decade where you should be indulging your adventurous spirit. So head to Alberta; rafting, zip-lining, hiking… you name it. For low risk adventure such as skiing it's hard to beat Alberta's Big Three; Mt. Norquay, Sunshine and Lake Louise. The three resorts offer almost 8,000 acres of skiable terrain for all levels of skiing. There are numerous packages out there offering accommodation, transportation and lift tickets that cover all three resorts. http://www.skibig3.com/
