Environment Canada has issued a wind warning for London and area, up to 90 km/h gusts for this afternoon, and a snow squall warning for parts of Midwestern Ontario. “Grey Bruce, Huron and Perth [counties] you could get up to 40 cm of snowfall... the rainfall moving out and behind it cold, windy conditions heading into the night,” said CTV News London’s Reta Ismail. “You could see the cold front already crossing through with strong winds over Lake Huron, and of course that is the perfect recipe for snow squalls and flurries to develop.” Bitterly cold temperatures return for Tuesday and on and off scattered flurries throughout the day. “We are going to drop to -6 by midnight. The winds will continue to gust out of the west northwest up to 70 kilometers per hour overnight.
