Renee’s Sandwich Shop located on Dundas Street in London Ont., has gone viral on social media for its high-quality ingredients and delicious creations. “We bake our bread fresh, literally all day long,” said co-owner Renee Kaplansky. “It’s not just deli meat; we cook all of our beef and chicken in house.” Kaplansky said the response on social media has been ‘incredibly impactful’ for her business. “I’ve never had to pay for marketing, which is amazing for a small business,” said Kaplansky. “All the amazing customers that come in and post TikToks and on Instagram, that’s huge for us.” Kaplansky said she purchased the space and opened shop on a whim. “This used to be my favourite coffee shop so when the space became available, I was like, you know what let’s do it,” said Kaplansky. “Let’s open a shop.” Renee’s features a variety of sandwiches and salads. “Our top seller by far is our turkey brie and that’s oven roasted turkey breast that we make every single morning,” said Kaplansky. “We have a nice wide range that we offer here and there’s something for everyone.”
