A stretch of sunny and mild fall weather is expected across southwestern Ontario this week, with temperatures remaining above seasonal norms and plenty of opportunities to enjoy the region’s autumn colours. CTV News London meteorologist Julie Atchison said the region can expect mainly sunny skies Tuesday with a high of 17 C and light winds. “It’s going to be beautiful, gorgeous, mainly sunny,” Atchison said. The pleasant conditions are expected to continue through the remainder of the work week. Atchison said full sunshine is forecast Wednesday through Friday, with daytime highs ranging from 17 C to 18 C. While overnight temperatures will be cool, Atchison said a gradual warming trend is expected heading into the weekend. A mix of sun and cloud is forecast for Saturday and Sunday, with daytime highs expected to range between 16 C and 19 C. Atchison said the weather will provide an ideal backdrop for residents hoping to take in the area’s fall colours. “We have some gorgeous fall colours. Make sure you get outside and enjoy,” she said.
