Skoops fire ‘intentionally set’ according to police

Strathory-Caradoc police say a fire that destroyed a building near the downtown was intentionally set.

Fire crews were called to the former Skoops Variety last Wednesday.

The building is on Caradoc street near Maitland Terrace Street in Strathroy .

The fire started around 4 a.m. and crews were able to control the spread.

There were no injuries and police are asking for any witnesses or surveillance video that might lead them to a suspect.
