Over 400 Londoners are without hydro after a vehicle struck a hydro pole in the Old East Village on Monday afternoon, the second hydro pole crash in London today. Police have closed Dundas Street in both directions near McCormick Boulevard, after the collision downed the pole at approximately 2:20 p.m. Two people have been transported to hospital with minor injuries, according to London Police. People are asked to avoid the area, and the road is expected to remain closed for several hours while London Hydro fixes the downed pole.
