Paving is set to begin at Clark’s Bridge on Monday, weather permitting. This is part of the Wellington Gateway project, the city of London said. Overnight paving will happen on Wellington Road between South Street and Watson Street overnight on July 6 and 7. A third night will take place between 7 p.m. and 7 a.m. if there are weather delays. “Overnight work helps reduce daytime traffic impacts and allows crews to complete paving safely and efficiently,” the city said. Traffic will be partially open, but there will be changing lane restrictions each night, dependent on where crews are working. Drivers are asked to plan ahead, expect delays, and follow posted signs and detours.
