A section of Crediton Road remains closed in South Huron following a residential structure fire early Wednesday morning. According to South Huron fire, all occupants of the home were safely evacuated when the call came in around 4 a.m. and no injuries have been reported. Crediton Road is fully closed between Babylon Line and Parr Line/King Street. Motorists were asked to avoid the area and seek alternate routes. In an update issued around 6:20 a.m., OPP said officers had cleared the scene and that county officials would assume responsibility for managing access to the area while the closure remains in place. No information has been released regarding the cause of the fire.
