A London woman is facing charges after an alleged break-in at a downtown home over the weekend. Police say a woman entered a residence in the 800 block of Princess Avenue around 8:30 p.m. on April 19. According to police, the suspect was confronted by a teenage girl, who demanded she leave the home. Police allege the woman refused and threatened to shoot the teen. The victim was able to push the suspect out of the home and contact police, investigators said. Officers responded to the area and were given a description of the suspect. The woman was arrested about 30 minutes later on English Street. No injuries were reported, and police say the accused and victim were not known to each other. A 43-year-old London woman has been charged with unlawfully in a dwelling house and uttering threats to cause bodily harm.
