A serious two-vehicle collision has closed a rural intersection in Middlesex County, according to Ontario Provincial Police. Middlesex OPP, along with Middlesex-London Paramedic Service, Ornge air ambulance and local fire crews, responded to the crash at the intersection of Nairn Road and Centre Road on Wednesday. In a post on social media, OPP said at least one person appeared to have sustained life-threatening injuries and was expected to be transported for treatment. No further information on the extent of injuries or the number of people involved was immediately available. Motorists are being asked to avoid the area and seek alternate routes.
