Fire crews were called out for a gas leak in east London, Ont. Monday afternoon. Someone had spotted smoke coming from an industrial sized-fuel tank near River and Gore roads. Emergency officials say they evacuated the property and closed nearby roads as a precaution. They say after a full inspection, they isolated a supply line, stopping the smoke. According to fire officials, a company responsible for servicing the tank was called in and there likely was no danger nor any environmental concerns.
