Advance polls for the London municipal election open this week at various locations across the city. As early as Thursday, eligible voters can cast their ballot to determine who will next serve the city of London as mayor and council. Advance voting dates and locations: Thursday, October 1 Saturday, October 3; Thursday, October 8; and Saturday, October 10 Saturday, October 3, and Monday, October 5, through Saturday, October 10 Ahead of voting, officials recommend that you check that you’re on the voters list. You can also check when you arrive to vote, however, verifying that you’re on the list ahead of time ensures that you’ll be able to vote quickly and easily. Residents should receive a voter notification card in the mail, which will indicate where you should go to cast your ballot - you can still vote without it. It’s worth noting that ward boundaries have changed since the last municipal election, so it might be worth a check to ensure that you know which ward you will be voting in.
