London fire crews responded to reports of a house fire in the city’s east end early Saturday morning. Officials say the fire was contained to the kitchen of the 200 block of Rainbow Avenue home. Firefighters were able to contain and extinguish the blaze. Unfortunately, a dog died due to smoke inhalation. The damage of the fire is estimated at $60,000.
