Current St. Thomas councillor announces candidacy for mayor

A familiar face in St. Thomas politics is running for mayor this fall.

Current Councillor and former mayor Jeff Kohler has announced he’s running for the top job.

Kohler made the announcement on social media, saying, “… the next four years are about making sure where you live remains the best to live, work, and raise a family ... If you agree, I ask for your support on October 26th.”

He’s served four terms on council and was mayor of the railway city from 2003 to 2006.
