Alumni from across Canada are gathering at St. Peter’s Seminary in London this week for centennial and homecoming celebrations. St. Peter’s is one of three major Roman Catholic English speaking seminaries in Canada located on the banks of the Thames next to Western University. “It’s wonderful to be celebrating 100 years of formation at 1041 Waterloo St. and we are looking forward to another 100 years,” said Rev. Peter Keller. PHOTO GALLERY: Historic photos of St. Peter’s Seminary Tuesday marks a rare occasion having four bishops on hand to celebrate mass in the chapel followed by a gala dinner in the evening. More than 1,000 priests have graduated from the institution, including deacons, bishops and a cardinal. The seminary not only educates future priests but also students from King’s College along with people who serve the church in a variety of capacities across southwestern Ontario.
