Cause of Amberley house fire under investigation

The cause of a fire that destroyed a home in Amberley overnight is under investigation.

Fire crews from Lucknow, Ripley, and Kincardine responded to the fire along Bruce Road 86, finding the home engulfed in flames upon arrival around midnight.

Crews couldn’t save the home, but did stop the fire from spreading to neighbouring homes.

No one was home at the time of the blaze, and no one was injured as a result of the fire, said Huron-Kinloss Fire Chief Jeff Bradley.

What sparked the blaze is under investigation by local authorities, he said.
