OPP have advised that a section of Highway 402 in Lambton County is closed due to “unsafe road surface conditions.” According to police, the closure is in effect for public safety, and that the Ministry of Transportation is responsible for addressing the infrastructure. The westbound lanes are closed between Oil Heritage Road and Mandaumin Road in Plympton-Wyoming. Westbound motorists are asked to exit at Oil Heritage Road and detour following London Line to Mandaumin Road to re-enter the highway. Police added that the closure is expected to be lengthy.
