Fashion designer Tom Ford says he has declined to dress incoming first lady Melania Trump.

Ford told The View Wednesday that he was asked to dress her “quite a few years ago” and decided not to because “she’s not necessarily in my image.”

Other designers who have said they won’t dress Mrs. Trump include Marc Jacobs and Joseph Altuzarra.

Jacobs told WWD that he’d “rather put (his) energy into helping out those who will be hurt by Trump and his supporters.”

However, designers Tommy Hilfiger, Thom Browne and Diane von Furstenberg all told WWD they would dress the 46-year-old Slovenian-American model.

“I don’t think people should become political about it,” Hilfiger said.
