Two people from Guelph are facing charges as part of a theft investigation in Fergus. The Ontario Provincial Police were called to a business on St. David Street North on Monday around 1:30 p.m. They were told two people had walked into the store, picked up $80 worth of merchandise and then left without paying. Officers found the duo outside the store. A 27-year-old woman and a 31-year-old man were each charged with theft under $5,000.
