Guelph Police are asking for the public’s help as they continue to investigate a parking lot fight that happened during Homecoming. This time, however, they are trying to identify a potential victim. On Sept. 26, thousands of people turned out for an unsanctioned street party on Chancellors Way. Police said a physical altercation broke out in a nearby parking lot, at 175 Stone Road West, around 10:50 p.m. They shared two images of someone who may have been hurt during that fight on Wednesday. “The Guelph Police Service is seeking to identify a man believed to have been assaulted during Homecoming on September 26 so investigators can check on his well-being and ensure he has access to any support he may require,” a media release said. On Oct. 15, police shared photos of two other unidentified people they wanted to speak to as part of their investigation. They have not said if those individuals were identified or if any charges had been laid in the case. Anyone with information is asked to contact Detective Constable Cameron Keddie at 519-824-1212, ext. 7431, or ckeddie@guelphpolice.ca.
