A man who decided to take a nap inside a local furniture store has now been arrested by Guelph Police after giving authorities a fake name. Investigators said the incident happened Tuesday at an unspecified Guelph business, where a man walked into the store, laid on a coach and fell asleep. Officers woke the man, who then identified himself before being asked to leave the store. Two days later, police learned the suspect had given a fake name. He was correctly identified, with investigators then realizing the suspect was bound by a bail order with a house arrest condition. A 41-year-old Guelph man was arrested Friday evening for obstructing police and breaching a release order.
