Drivers in Guelph had to navigate around flooded streets early Tuesday morning. Guelph Police said officers helped direct traffic away from five intersections: Edinburgh Road South and Kortright Road West, College Avenue West and Flanders Road, Speedvale Avenue East and Riverview Drive, Silvercreek Parkway and Willow Road, as well as Scottsdale Drive and College Avenue. Police also contacted the public works department who sent out teams to clear away debris, allowing the rainwater to drain away. The flooding had subsided by 8 a.m.
