A Guelph woman wanted on outstanding warrants was arrested Tuesday afternoon with help from the Guelph Police Service’s canine unit. Police said the suspect, wanted for failing to attend court on several criminal charges, was spotted by an on-duty officer near York Road and Beaumont Crescent. The woman fled on her bicycle onto a nearby commercial property, where a canine unit tracked her down following an hour-long search. The 28-year-old faces an additional charge of failing to attend court.
