The Waterloo Regional Police Service is investigating a robbery involving young people outside a mall in Kitchener. Police said it happened around 7:50 p.m. Thursday at Fairview Park Mall. Investigators were told two youth victims had parked their electric scooters outside the mall when they were approached by two other young people. The suspects took out handguns and stole the scooters. No one was hurt and the investigation is ongoing. Police believe it was a targeted incident.
