A Guelph woman has been arrested after a break-in at a north-end church in July. Police said they heard about the incident from church staff. “An employee reported a day earlier a woman entered the church while it was open to the public before forcing her way into the office,” said Guelph Police in a news release. The complainant’s purse including her wallet and keys was allegedly stolen. Police said the incident was captured on video. On Friday, the suspect was found downtown and was arrested. A 39-year-old woman is charged with break and enter and three counts of breaching a probation order. She is expected in court next month.
