Waterloo Regional Police are investigating an assault that sent a 62-year-old man to hospital. It happened around 12:45 a.m. Monday at an unnamed business on King Street North, near Young Street West, in Waterloo. Police said the victim was found unconscious. He was then transported to a local hospital with a serious injury to his head. The WRPS’ Major Crime Unit is now investigating and are asking anyone who witnessed the assault, or has video, to contact police at 519-570-9777, extension 8191.
