Following a Memorial Cup winning season, two members of the Kitchener Rangers’ staff are taking the next steps in their careers by accepting positions with NHL teams. Luca Lombardi will be joining the Toronto Maple Leafs as a communications coordinator and Zoe Jerome is set to become a data engineer with the Colorado Avalanche. Lombardi spent the last three years with the Rangers, starting as an intern before becoming a key member of the organization’s communications and community team. Jerome has been with the team for the last four years, most recently serving as a senior developer in research and development. She also played an integral role with the Rangers’ analytics group. In a post to social media, the Kitchener Rangers thanked both staff members and said they’re proud to see them take this next step and wished them nothing but success in the NHL.
