A mystery multi-millionaire has finally come forward. A Lotto 6/49 ticket – worth $5 million – was sold in Woodstock, Ont., in 2024. The winner had one year from May 4 draw date to claim their prize but, as of April 17, 2025, they still hadn’t claimed the jackpot. With the deadline just weeks away, the OLG put out a public reminder to the ticketholder. And it seems they got the message. In an email to CTV News, the OLG said the winning ticket was validated over the Easter long weekend. The name of the winner has not yet been released. The OLG said more information will be shared once the $5-million prize has been picked up.
