School buses cancelled in Waterloo Region, Wellington County and Brant County

Some students will be enjoying a snow day on Friday due to school bus cancellations.

Student Transportation Services of Waterloo Region said all school buses, taxis and special education routes for the Waterloo Catholic District School Board and Waterloo Region District School Board were cancelled due to the weather.

All public and Catholic schools are still open.

All St. Louis online, daytime and evening classes are still running, community use programs are operating and all extended day childcare programs are open.

Wellington-Dufferin Student Transportation Services said buses were cancelled for Zone 2 (Centre Wellington), Zone 3 (North Wellington) and Zone 4 (Dufferin) but buses were still running in Guelph.

The Grand Erie District School Board announced schools in all zones were closed today due to the weather, including administrative buildings and childcare centres.

The Brand Haldimand Norfolk Catholic District School Board also cancelled all transportation and schools in Zones 1,2,3 and 4 have closed.

According to the Mon Avenir website, Sainte-Marguerite-Bourgeoys Catholic Elementary School in Brantford was also closed.
