One person is in hospital after an early-morning home invasion in Morriston on Sunday. Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) and Guelph-Wellington Paramedic Services were called to a home just after 4:40 a.m. on Sunday. When emergency crews arrived, they found one person who had been injured by a firearm. The victim was taken to a local hospital. Their condition has not been released. Police believe the suspects left the area in a vehicle shortly after the incident. OPP said the investigation is ongoing, but the incident is believed to be isolated and there is no threat to public safety.
