Waterloo Regional Police are investigating a reported stabbing in Uptown Waterloo that sent one man to hospital early Tuesday morning. Police said there was a large police presence in the area of King Street and Prince Street as of about 2 a.m. One adult male was transported to hospital with injuries following reports of a stabbing, police said. Several other people were also being treated after being sprayed with an noxious substance. Police did not provide further details about the circumstances surrounding the incident. The area had an increased police presence while officers investigated. Police said more information would be released when available.
