Drivers were asked to avoid a busy highway Wednesday morning as police responded to a three-vehicle collision. The eastbound lanes of Highway 403 were closed at Garden Avenue near Branford around 11 a.m. Drivers were asked to find alternative routes while crews worked. The highway reopened around 1:40 p.m. Police confirmed some people involved in the crash had non-life threatening injures, but they did not say how many people were hurt.
