A Guelph man has been arrested following an incident that saw a paramedic on the receiving end of a headbutt. Guelph Police say they responded to Guelph General Hospital just before midnight Tuesday, where a man was being taken due to illicit drug use. The suspect was on a stretcher when he lunged out and headbutted a paramedic on the nose. Hospital security then intervened, with the man being arrested shortly after. A 42-year-old Guelph man was charged with assault.
