The Waterloo Regional Police Service is now calling the death of a Cambridge woman a homicide. The body of Elizabeth Spurgeon, 36, was found in the area of West River Road and Brant-Waterloo Road in North Dumfries Township early on the morning of Sept. 12. Investigators have not said what caused her death, but they are looking for anyone who knows where she was in the days leading up to the discovery of her body. Anyone with information is urged to contact police.
