A new flag will be flying this week above Market Street in Brantford. The city and Wilfrid Laurier University said film crews will be working on a production there from Aug. 25 to Aug. 27. That will result in some street closures and increased activity in the area. The American flag will also be hoisted over the Market Street entrance to One Market. Productions typically use code names while filming. In this case, the city has listed it as “Turkey Meatloaf.” That name has been used elsewhere for the Amazon series “Reacher.” According to the university, crews will film the exterior of 32 Market Street on Tuesday between 6 a.m. and 11 p.m. One Market will only be accessible from the George Street and Colbourne Street entrances. Dalhousie Street will also be impacted by the production. The city said the following will be closed between 6 a.m. and 11 p.m. on Aug. 26: There will also be intermittent traffic stoppages, detours and sidewalk closures. Cast and crew, meanwhile, will be using the lobbies of SC Johnson and the Research and Academic Centre (RAC).
