Tips For Choosing Appliances:

1. Appliances should be the first thing considered when planning a kitchen. Their size, shape and function will all determine how the cabinetry is laid out within the overall plan.

2. When choosing the colour of appliances consider matching the tone and colours of your chosen countertop. The dark or light tone of your countertop should help you decide on how dark or light your appliances should be.

3. Stainless steel appliances are not a trend, but a mainstay in colour options.

4. Considering we keep our appliances for 8-15 years, choose neutral colours like white, black and stainless steel. Trendy colours like red or avocado tend to outdate themselves after about 5 years.

5. Try to purchase the same brand of major appliances (dishwasher, fridge, wall ovens and stove) to keep visual consistency in your kitchen.
