VANCOUVER - More than 150 people are waiting to see if they'll be part of the jury to determine whether a man lied during the trial of two men who were later acquitted in the Air India bombing.

Inderjit Singh Reyat was charged with perjury in 2006, three years after he testified at the trial.

An indictment filed by the Crown and read to the jury pool this morning alleges he lied 27 times during his testimony.

Air India Flight 182 was bombed in June 1985, killing 329 people on the same day two baggage handlers were killed in Toyko, where another Air India plane was targeted.

Ripudaman Singh Malik and Ajaib Singh Bagri were acquitted in March, 2005.
