Heather Wright
ContactBased in Toronto, Heather Wright is a Senior Correspondent for CTV National News. Previously, she was a reporter and fill-in anchor with CTV News Toronto.
Since joining CTV in 2012, Wright has covered a wide range of stories. She was on the court for Game 1 of the 2019 NBA Finals, and followed the Toronto Raptors throughout their championship run. She’s interviewed survivors of some of the city’s worst tragedies, including the Toronto van attack and the Danforth shooting.
Prior to joining CTV News Toronto, Wright was a videojournalist for CTV News Barrie, and also spent time in Washington, D.C., where she covered the 2010 midterm elections.
Wright graduated from with a History and Political Science degree from McGill University. She also holds a Master's in Journalism from Northwestern University.
An interesting fact about Wright is that she is an avid runner, and participated in four marathons. She speaks English.
