Brie Larson is being eyed to bring one of Marvel's most popular female superheroes to life on the big screen.
According to Variety, Larson, who just won the best actress Oscar for her role in "Room," is the frontrunner for the role.
The film script is being penned by "Inside Out" scribe Meg LeFauve and Nicole Perlman.
In the storyline, Carol Danvers is an air force pilot whose DNA is fused with an alien during an accident, resulting in the transfer of superpowers that include super strength, energy projection and flight.
