Danny DeVito could be set to star in the upcoming Disney adaptation of "Dumbo."

The actor is in talks to take on the role of the ringmaster in the live adaptation directed by Tim Burton, Variety reports. French actress Eva Green is also in negotiations to feature in the production.

The children's tale of the popular circus element is the latest in a long line of classics to be given a live action makeover, following the success of "Cinderella" and "The Jungle Book." Its hotly anticipated revamp of "Beauty and the Beast" debuts on March 17.
